Batman 3 "The Dark Knight Rises"

Robin John Blake is left the inheritance of Bruce Wayne which included a map to the bat cave. My only question is does he become the new Batman, Robin, or Nightwing? The kids are shown drawing a symbol in chalk similar to Batman's, and at the end of the movie Commissioner Gordon is shown doing something with the bat signal.

My guess was that Nightwing was more likely, with the other option him becoming the new Batman (remember, batman is a symbol that can be anyone). I don't think the character of "Robin" is likely at all (I think Blake might be too old to be "Robin" anyway).

I enjoyed it, the ending was a bit comic cliche but hey, its Batman. IMAX sounded fantasic and I thought Bane's voice was fine. Anne did a surprisingly good job with Catwoman as well, the cameos were simply icing. Not the best, but a strong ending to a great trilogy.

Some great trailers too, Man of Steel particularly, as was the 007 and Hobbit (though it was still at the low framerate).

I thought the same exact thing, especially since when Bane is

first talking about the bomb, he said "by my calculations it has 5 months before it goes off," indicating there was no sort of timer. Then all of a sudden when the movie needs it, the bomb has a timer.

Definitely thought that was a bit cheesy.

Overall it is a great movie though. My favorite overall of the trilogy actually. And I really, really liked the other 2 movies.

They could have some how triangulated the dissipation of the half life of the bomb using some sort of unknown tech. /s

How did he even know Bruce Wayne was Batman? We're supposed to believe it was because of the look in his eyes? It was the same with Bane finding his identity and the location of all his tech... yet not the Batcave. The audience was just expected to accept it at face value.

I assume that Bane knew all about Bruce and his armory from Ra's al Ghul and Talia. She was on Wayne Enterprise's board, so there's no telling what she had access to. I'm not sure who else knows about the Batcave besides Wayne, Alfred, and I think Fox. It's been a while since I saw the other two films.

Did anyone see the Man of Steel teaser in front of TDKR? DID YOU GET GOOSEBUMPS?

Man of Steel? Deadliest Catch more like :) Not worth seeing TDKR for that.

I've since come to terms with a few issues I had with the film, though really the irresolvable problem is the plot kinda stank (Though I don't think it treated the audience so overtly as dumb as Prometheus did).

SPOILER TAG THAT. Whether that's true or not, his character is quite important and people who haven't seen the movie yet may not want to know who he turns out to be or not :)

Not sure who edited my post, but is the kid really that important? Most people don't even know who I mentioned anyway. I didn't think he was rather important to the storyline, but I did think if it was true, that it was a cool Easter egg.

The more I think about this film, the more I enjoy it. I am definitely due for a second viewing. Heath Ledger's Joker cannot be matched, but I think The Dark Knight Rises is a superior film as a whole. But it is difficult to compare, since each film has a different genre and villain-type, which is why I enjoy Nolan's trilogy. Batman Begins was an origin story with a ninja fighter, The Dark Knight was a crime drama with psychological villain and The Dark Knight Rises is an epic war film with a brute villain. Batman Begins was totally different at the time, The Dark Knight featured the best villain portrayal of our time, and The Dark Knight Rises did what few films can - end a series with a bang. I also enjoy The Dark Knight Rises theme - the will to survive.

Saw it today, will be going back for IMAX next week. Overall, I really liked TDKR - I don't think Nolan could have ended it any better really. I really think DK set the bar too high, it wouldn't matter what Nolan came out with for TDKR. The first 5-10 minutes of DK alone are just insane. All the characters in TDKR were likeable and the performances were extremely good. Look out for the Rothelisberger-Hines Ward cameos :)

If I had to nitpick at one thing it would be the ending sequence. I really think the final scene with Alfred at the cafe would have been sooo much more impactful if they never showed Wayne/Kyle at the table. I just wanted to see him give a nod and a smile and cut to credit. Oh, I would have got goosebumps just from that!

Also, waaaayyy too many previews, geeez! Would have loved to just see the Man of Steel teaser then the movie start. And I would have loved to see the original audio cut with the original Bane audio. It just seemed a bit too "giddy" for me. Think they would do that for the Blu-Ray release?

I was thinking the same thing.

NO, you're not just supposed to believe it.....

Robin knew the location of due to the GPS and coords left to him in Wayne's 'will'...watch it again and you'll see that. As for Bane finding the location, that's quite obvious.....Miranda was given universal control over Wayne enterprises....and lest you forget, she was the 'Big Bad'!!!

I personally really liked the film...okay, the

timer on the bomb was a little old hat

but I thought it trod the line of Nolan's new Batman world (more character based) and the Batman/Villains we've come to know and love in years gone by or from comics....tough to have an arty flick (such as Nolan's direction) whilst keeping true to a comic. Also loved the ending...the whole point of that was to show that "Anyone can be Batman".

Glow 26.10 changelog: New Features The bootstrapping algorithm has been completely redesigned. The software can now launch directly without requiring TS Preloader. As part of this change, the startup splash screen displayed during initialization has been removed. In addition, spikes in CPU usage have been eliminated, resulting in a more stable architecture with significantly lower memory consumption. The Microsoft Office detection infrastructure within the Operating System section has been enhanced. Additional detection support has been added for Office C2R (Click-to-Run) installations. Furthermore, the license status evaluation system has been improved, and the priority order has been revised as follows: Licensed > Grace Period > Other (NOTIFICATIONS, EVALUATION, etc.). Glow now includes preliminary support for Wi-Fi 8 technology, allowing more detailed information to be displayed for Wi-Fi 8-compatible network adapters. Glow now provides full support for Bluetooth 6.2. Adapters supporting Bluetooth 6.2 can be analyzed in greater detail and with improved accuracy. The disk distribution view in the Disk section has been modernized, replacing the traditional table layout with a new 2×2 card-based design. The TS Custom Controls module has been updated to v26.7. Thanks to the new custom controls, all Türkaysoft applications now offer a more modern and consistent user interface aligned with Windows 11 design standards. Bug Fixes Potential line-ending handling issues in the Office detection code within the Operating System section have been resolved. Additionally, the output format has been standardized to UTF-8 to prevent character encoding issues and ensure consistent data processing. Several stability and file management issues within the Debugging infrastructure have been addressed. Problems that prevented new log files from being created after Debugging was disabled, as well as issues causing debug records to be lost, have been fixed. File deletion and reaccess issues that occurred after file locks were released have also been resolved. In addition, a bug that caused newly recreated log files to remain locked after deletion has been eliminated. Unnecessary blank lines within debug logs and the extra empty line that could appear at the end of log files have also been corrected. A shortcut key conflict caused by assigning identical hotkeys to both the DNS Test Tool and the Donation page has been fixed. The DNS Test Tool can now be accessed using CTRL + Shift + D, while the Donation page is available via CTRL + Alt + D. Changes The service responsible for providing the Public IP Address and Internet Service Provider information in the Network section has been updated to use the ipinfo.io infrastructure. This change improves the accuracy and consistency of the displayed data. (No external requests are made while Hiding Mode is enabled.) Some terms in the Dutch and Korean language files have been updated to make them clearer and more user-friendly. [TS Updater] Before the update process begins, users are now prompted to choose whether they would like to view the release notes. Note: Always unzip the program before using it. Otherwise you may get an error. Download: Glow 26.10 | 1.8 MB (Open Source) Links: Glow Homepage | Screenshot | Github Get alerted to all of our Software updates on Twitter at @NeowinSoftware
