James bond Blood Stone

Ive actually played it a little and do not think its a brilliant game, i didnt like driving the car it was awful imo. The auto focus thing i dont like (i thought it be like splinter cell conviction its not) and your smart phone tells you where to go and where your enemies are. Also too many cut scenes for my liking but if you can play a demo first then i recommend you do that my opinion could be different to someone elses.

I read little tidbits about it, but I saw an ad for it last night (I didn't even realise it was out this week!). It looked ok, but I hope there's at least a demo.

<<snipped>>

I am interested in this game but way they handled with Blur after it was released left a sour taste so I'll probably give it a rent or buy as a present for someone when it is cheaper!

Seems like Goldeneye will always be the best Bond game ever released. Too bad it's only coming to Wii (though the N64 original is still better in my mind despite the positive reviews). I thought Everything or Nothing was prolly the second best Bond game.

Agreed. the Quantum of Solace video game was the best Bond game since the obvious best which was GoldenEye on N64.

No!

Everyone seems to be forgetting James Bond: Everything or Nothing which was actually pretty good.

http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-2/james-bond-007-everything-or-nothing Scored 84 on Metacritic but I had the game on Xbox, was pretty good fun.

hmm made by the same guys who made project gotham racing... no wonder the vehicular parts are so good

maybe there ought to be some dlc which puts in multiplayer vehicular modes or something, i can see that the flexibility of the game engine they are using gives it alot of potential...

yeah with my combined love for PGR4 and Quantum of Solace there was no way i was missing on this...so got it yesterday. SP looks OK, but MP is great. hope the community lasts for a few months, at least. QoS had awesome MP and a very good SP campaign, plus the COD engine. Blood Stone seems to be trying something a little different, even if it's more third person shooter by the numbers.

IGN gave it a 5... painfully average was the keyword in thieir video review

It's James Bond, who's really surprised

Series needs to die (both game & film)

Is that a joke?

The vehicle parts are the worst thing about the game the cars handle like crap, i clipped a bit of the scenery and the car spun about 20 times, and each sequence is very scripted so much so that the complete level is 1 narrow path all the way to the end.

    • It's time to say goodbye to Edge and switch back to Firefox. There's no way to disable the ugly rounded corners that appear everywhere. Not even on the page frame. No one uses screens with rounded corners, you idiots.
    • Being on Github makes it more trustable since I can see the code at any point.
    • Gen Atlas is the next game from Shadow of the Colossus creator, this time with giant robots by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe The mind behind widely well-received games like Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, and The Last Guardian, Fumito Ueda, showed up at Summer Game Fest today, and that was to reveal his latest project. Being developed by genDESIGN, Gen Atlas is incoming with what looks to be plenty of mech and robot action. Watch the reveal trailer, which makes not much sense, above. The game will have players waking up on an abandoned planet where deserted facilities and grand designs from the original creators remain. Soon, they will stumble upon a colossal robot, from which players gain access to the power to change the world. "Across an endless expanse of time, the remnants of those forgotten constructs begin to move once more," adds the studio. The gameplay snippets seen in the trailer show the player character climbing giant robots (as expected from the creator), while also controlling these titans somehow as well. This is a fully single-player open-world adventure. “The team and I are grateful to all the fans who’ve been eager to learn more about our game,” says Fumito Ueda, CEO and creative director of genDESIGN. “Their passion and enthusiasm has always motivated and inspired us. We hope to share an experience that inspires moments of quiet wonder and discovery.” Before gaining the name Gen Atlas, Ueda first announced this project back in 2024 with the codename Project Robot. Interestingly, this will be a project being funded and published by Epic Games, which should mean that a Steam release is out of the question. Gen Atlas will be releasing on Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. A release date has not been announced just yet.
    • How backwards can you have it? Yes, Linux was gaining because of Linux handhelds and the push for gaming compatibility, but that's not desktop users, it barely converts anyone who owns a SteamDeck, though it helps for those who wanted to do it, but anyways, the AI+RAM debacle helped Linux because people can't easily upgrade their PCs easily and many hate AI so they'd be incentivized to try Linux.
