James bond Blood Stone

i know DM and Sethos will have my neck for saying this, but i like it. i especially like the MP, basic tho it is. I knew i would like this, since i loved QoS on the 360. it's a polished release with some very nice visuals and great, memorable locales. sure it's no ground breaker, but it gets the job done consistently, so i like it.

I was excited for it until the reviews started coming out... sad that Bizarre gets relegated to this crap with Activision.

Well, i would say most reviewers and probably a lot of gamers too have decided before even playing that this game would suck.

I honestly found it pretty good (on PC), It's a fine shooter, think Splinter Cell conviction without gadgets and less climbing.

While the car sections could have been better, or well the physics of it as sometimes it seem like you can crash in to a car in 160kmh and the other car will just move aside leaving you mostly untouched other times you crash after nudging some other car but overall the where fun and sure added some variety and Bond feel to the game.

As for the story, well it's not the latest story driven RPG from Bioware, but it was pretty decent and anyone who liked the story of the newer Bond movies should be happy, that said i would have preferred it if they had taken the script of this game and made a movie with it instead...

Blood Stone is a great game, I'm honestly not sure why its getting all the hate? I'm likely going to get flamed for this but ill say it anyway... I enjoyed the single player campaign on Blood Stone more than Black Ops.

It has some great action, especially the vehicle chases which I think give you a nice break from running about killing people. The story is enjoyable and managed to keep me interested throughout.

My only complaint is the game is pretty short, I played the game through from the second mission onwards this afternoon and had finished it in about 4-5 hours. That includes taking time out to mess about and get the achievements for certain types of kills.

The multiplayer is not bad, its not up there with Black Ops or Reach however its still quite enjoyable.

Ignore the reviews and play the game for your self, I would give it an 8.5/10.

wouldn't call it great and i certainly don't think the SP is better than Black Ops, but it's good fun and enjoyable. people are just prejudiced against it and won't give it a fair chance because all they see is a generic third person shooter and the word mill is decidedly antagonistic. well, generic can be quite OK or it can be terrible...Quantum Theory (NOT Quantum of Solace) was terrible generic, although i'm sure there are people who enjoyed it. Blood Stone is OK generic, it's a very pleasing game if never near greatness. very polished and good-looking, too.

I tried it too. At first I thought it would suck, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's not the best game ever, but it's very enjoyable. The vehicle sections have some epic moments. Quite well executed. The rest of the gameplay is quite generic and repetitive. But I'd rather play something like that, than a game that tries too hard to be original and completely misses the point. The devs went for a safe approach to this game. I'd say: better safe than sorry. :)

    • Microsoft announces the return of Xbox exclusives with Gears of War and Clockwork Revolution by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Microsoft had plenty of announcements to make today at the Xbox Games Showcase celebrating 25 years of the gaming brand. Now, under the leadership of the new Xbox CEO Asha Sharma, Xbox games are going back to their original release methods. She appeared in the livestream itself to announce the return of Xbox console exclusives. This means two major upcoming games from first-party studios won't be coming to PlayStation or Nintendo consoles: Gears of War: E-Day from The Coalition and Clockwork Revolution from InExile. Both titles will only be coming out on Xbox Series X|S consoles and Windows PCs, ditching any plans they had for PlayStation. "These are not timed exclusives," confirmed Microsoft. "We’re committed to investing in and growing XBOX both on console and beyond." The company confirmed that any already announced Xbox titles for PlayStation, under previous leadership, will continue to arrive for the rival platform. This means games like the new Halo remake, Forza Horizon 6, Fable, and State of Decay 3 will still be available on PlayStation, either at launch or later. It sounds like any new projects announced by the company will avoid other consoles in the same way. Microsoft first opened the floodgates by bringing titles like Sea of Thieves, Grounded, Hi-Fi Rush, and Pentiment to PlayStation and Nintendo consoles back in 2024. Since then, almost every new game release from Xbox Game Studios has arrived for rival consoles alongside Xbox and PC. This decision follows Sony's plans to ditch its own multiplatform releases too. Outside of multiplatform live service titles, the PlayStation maker is even abandoning its PC porting endeavors that started years ago.
    • I'm missing the beginning part of this equation... but for the sake of the convo, you don't get to take a $250(?) set of normally priced RAM, jack it up to over $500/600/800 just because of a market shift, then lower it back down to more than what it was originally and call that a "sale". Not the author of this post... the manufacturer/seller.
