Christmas tree: Real or fake?

Years of buying real ones but now the fake ones don't look so fake :)

Bought our 300.00 tree for 90 bucks the day after Christmas a few years ago and haven't looked back. lights are built in so i pull it out of the box, plug it in and voila - kids put up their decorations and i'm done

Real, 7-8 feet in living room, 5-6 feet in conservatory.

It's not Christmas without a real tree! :p

Fake... just easier. Also, a decent tree here is expensive ($60+).

I think real trees look better and the smell reminds me of the holidays. But, fake looks good enough for me and is just easier.

Always had a fake tree. I've never felt like I'm missing out on anything by not getting a real one.

And I have never looked to see what trees cost here. Probably not a whole lot, since we have tons of em here in Iowa..

I have no tree because I'm alone at Christmas. Alone it doesn't make fun to celebrate it.

We got a fake black pre-lit tree from Asda, 1/2 price too :) ?17.50 and no mess. Perfect.

Real from a local farm. Costs about $40. for a 6 1/2 ft. Getting under it to water it is a pain.

That's one thing I don't miss about having a tree. It is definitely a pain.

I think having real Christmas trees in homes in my neck of woods are not common.

The most is just the usual fake trees.

For 2010 my sisters and cousins drew our 'Christmas tree' on paper and pasted it on the wall.
