The "majority" of people like their music?  Where's that?  Almost everyone I know makes fun of them now.  The only guy that was even arguabley half-way talented left the band and they tried to replace him from GUITAR CENTER tours!  WTF?

BTW, I am sorry, but money is NOT a sign of talent.  Its a sign of marketing and production.  Thats it.  True talent is an art, not talking about boffing someone and who you hate today.

...but that doesn't constitute as the majority because you do not know everybody or any number remotely close to the majority. Seems to me that quite a bit of people have jumped on the bandwagon lately and post a lot on the LB forums... seems like they're gaining popularity and their respect back somewhat eh? With no talent they would have been a "one hit wonder".. hmm.. seems to me they've been putting out music for around 8 years now with no signs of stopping. Whatever floats your boat, go listen to your sappy 80's music.. won't stop me from listenin' to LB.

LB sold millions because 90% of their fan database are teenagers, and I know that teenagers like to listen to immature music :rolleyes:

Please refine your meaning "immature." I wouldn't think the "F word" of all words would bother such a person like you, right? The stat of teens being the majority of the fan base is true for any band these days.. and yes, any band. That's because generally kids really start to get into music in this age period.. say 15-19? I find it funny that Limp Bizkit of sorts is considered "immature music"... it's no more immature than what happens with a catholic priest and a little boy. Don't like it? Don't listen to it... apparently all some of you have heard are the aired singles... :rolleyes:

Immature music: music that has childish or very uncreative lyrics, there no deep or self philosophy, just some random blabering of random things.

BTW, any band had teenagers as a majority of they fan database? ANY? lol, grew up a little, Im sure that you will encouenter the good music at a higer age

I like LB, sure their lyrics isn't the best but I like the music and their style. And I think that their career for the last eight years prooves that they have some talent. They love doing music and all the benefits. I will surely check out their new album.

Oh almost forgot, the chocolat starfish was their worst album. It was one of those "one-week"-hit album and then you were tired of it. But the three dolla bill yall and significant was two great albums, which I even today can tune on.

I've grown up around more sophisticated and mature music, and I totally agree with you SD. Many of these bands have horrible style with awful lyrics. This new song doesn't look like anything great. As a matter of fact, I wish it wasn't coming out. Music like this really needs to die.

another thing that reflects the immaturity of a band if the image, limp bizkit (fred durst) had this badass image, the dream of every teenager, be a badass, another immature images are marilyn manson, and a lot of rappers, etc

and one thing, if they sold out, WHY THE HELL WOULD HE THROW AWAY AN ALBUM. yeah, they had an album made in june, ut they reDid it to sound better...

and also, they are a great live band. ask anybody who saw them live.. especially now. read the summer sanitarium reviews (except the chicago thats a special story) and youll see that they were able to transform haters into fans, that they practicly left a bunch od tired people for metallica show, cause THEY rocked them.

I used to like them as well, but after I tried to dig out another band, there are many bands way better than LB, in terms of lyrics and music. Try to explore another kind of music, just don't stick to one genre or one band or one country.
