Has anyone received an email stating that they have been selected for a beta weekend test? I received one in the past but I didn't participate because I read the email after the test period ended. This time, I received the following email:

Greetings Anaron,

Your account has been selected to participate in an upcoming Star Wars?: The Old Republic? Beta Weekend Test. If you have previously tested or are currently participating in an ongoing test, you will be invited again. Additional details for this upcoming test will be announced soon.

As part of this test, we will be partnering with games industry sites to distribute additional beta codes as necessary. This will help ensure we meet our population goals, so we can effectively stress test our servers in preparation for launch. Please do not acquire and redeem one of these codes as it could jeopardize your ability to participate in this test.

As a reminder, should you choose to participate, everything associated with this test (game information, process, forums communication, etc.) is confidential and may not be discussed outside of the Game Testing forum. Additionally, your participation in the Game Testing Program is subject to the Game Testing Agreement.

May the Force be with you,

The Star Wars: The Old Republic Team 111111_stressEN_spacer.gif

I logged into my account and went to the tester page but I don't see anything other than "Squadron 367 | EXPIRED".

Anyway, this is the first invitation I received (in early-October):

ANARON

You must respond to confirm your

participation in the Game Testing Program.

START: October 7th @ 5:00 PM CDT

END: October 10th @ 11:59:00 PM CDT

Your account has been selected to participate in the Star Wars?: The Old Republic? Game Testing Program.

You must respond to be able to participate in this test. To accept or decline this invitation, simply visit the Testing Details Page where you can also review the testing dates and details.

If you decide to decline this specific test, you are still eligible to participate in future tests of Star Wars: The Old Republic, though there is no guarantee that you will be selected again.

May the Force be with you,

The Star Wars: The Old Republic Team

I got another invite (already played through the first invite I got) and has the game balance changed much? Up to level 15 at least, the healer is the most powerful solo class, able to do pretty much everything solo, and the others started to really lose their edge in solo situations. Is that still the case? If so, its a shame the developers haven't done something about it......after playing through one beta, I just don't know if I can play through another.....it was just that bad IMHO.

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO GOT A NOTIFICATION, BUT NOT AN INVITE!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There's a huge stress test coming up, and that's what you'll be invited into.

The invites aren't out yet, obviously, but they're coming. So don't panic...

grab your towel and chill out, it's wasn't a mistake. :)

I'm a level 10 sith warrior now, been playing it since last night. I'm impressed with the game. Although I've died like 6 times already, I am finding it to be more fun than LOTRO. (and I'm a LOTR nerd, not a SW nerd)

I don't know if I'll have the time to keep up with this game though..

Still havent gotten an invite, been signed up over a year ago, preorder put in earlier this month.

Bit ohnwell, not really worried about getting in beta, wont be able to actually play at release either as walmart shipping sux.

Grats to those that got in, im planning on planing a Sith Assassin, or Jugernaught.

See you on the other side next year ( when i get the retail box )

If you were invited to this weekend, chances are you will be in the next weekend beta (which will be the final one).

Affirm this was confirmed by the Dev team. After this past weekends test I can't wait till the game is released.. My only problem now is, during beta weekend, I didn't want to play the class that I plan on playing on release (which is Sith Sorcerer) so I played a Bounty Hunter.. problem now is, after playing BH this weekend and getting him to level 18, I must say I am REALLY digging BH now.. So much so that now I can't decide which I wanna play at release. I have played Sith Inquisitor on my last beta weekend invite about a month ago, but I only got to level 10 and stopped..

    • Maybe it's just my old-school soul talking, but I’ve always felt that games aren't 'real' games until they hit the PC. Leaving the PC community out at launch just doesn't sit right with me. That being said, I'm probably going to buy the PS5 just for the fun of trying it out.

    • Rockstar confirms Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders begin next week, unveils cover art by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe The release date of Grand Theft Auto VI has moved quite a lot since its original announcement in 2023, but it finally looks like the game has found its final launch slot. Rockstar today had a new video upload on its YouTube channel, and while it wasn't a new trailer for the game, the company revealed two things. This was the pre-order kickoff date for Grand Theft Auto VI as well as the game's official cover art. The company revealed that June 25 is when fans of the series will be able to pre-order their copy of Grand Theft Auto VI. Pre-orders will be available both digitally and in retail stores. The newly unveiled cover art shows off the two new protagonists, as well as a few more characters that are probably vital to the campaign storyline. Shots of vehicles players can use like a light helicopter, motorcycle, sports car, and speed boat are also seen here, alongside a shot of a crocodile. "Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them," says Rockstar describing the campaign's protagonist duo. "But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive." Grand Theft Auto VI is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on November 19, 2026. A PC version has not been confirmed yet, though it's expected by many to land after the console release. When asked about this, the Take-Two CEO says it considers the core audience for the Grand Theft Auto franchise to be on consoles.
