23rd James Bond Movie Officially Announced!

Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions, together with Gary Barber and Roger Birnbaum, Co-Chairmen and Chief Executive Officers of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc., today announced that the 23rd James Bond film will commence production in late 2011 for a worldwide release on November 9, 2012.

Daniel Craig will be returning as the legendary British secret agent, with Sam Mendes directing a screenplay written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and John Logan.

Wohoo! Hopefully it's far better than Quantum of Solace.

+1 I haven't seen it in a while, but imho it was the worst Bond movie ever, Casino Royale on the other hand is one of the best, hopefully this one will be more like Casino.

Hopefully more Casino Royale and far far less Quantem of Solace.

And I have to assume those wanting more Piece Brosnan must have forgotten about the horrific Die Another Day, what a bad film that was.

He was great in Goldeneye which was was a great film, the same director of Casino Royale, why they don't just get the same director do the follow up films I don't know, he obviously has the talent that is lost when they move on to the next film of the same actor.
