23rd James Bond Movie Officially Announced!

Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions, together with Gary Barber and Roger Birnbaum, Co-Chairmen and Chief Executive Officers of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc., today announced that the 23rd James Bond film will commence production in late 2011 for a worldwide release on November 9, 2012.

Daniel Craig will be returning as the legendary British secret agent, with Sam Mendes directing a screenplay written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and John Logan.

Daniel Craig is a good James Bond, but I wish they went back to the original style of the films (awesome cars, cool gadgets, etc).

+1 I haven't seen it in a while, but imho it was the worst Bond movie ever, Casino Royale on the other hand is one of the best, hopefully this one will be more like Casino.

Casino Royale was great, didn't understand anything of the whole story of Quantum of Solace though. Shame they killed Vesper, I liked her (in a non-sexual way).

Yeah, Daniel Craig and his "ganster" hard man Bond has never cut it for me. Need the comedic yet suave personality that Brosnan brought to the role.

And I have to assume those wanting more Piece Brosnan must have forgotten about the horrific Die Another Day, what a bad film that was.

He was great in Goldeneye which was was a great film, the same director of Casino Royale, why they don't just get the same director do the follow up films I don't know, he obviously has the talent that is lost when they move on to the next film of the same actor.

naa, just seemed that way because DAD wasn't very good, great opening but as the film progressed it went downhill. Plus it has the worst bond theme ever.
