Windows M3U generator?

Question

I have a ton of MP3 files that are segregated by artist or genre. I would like to generate M3U playlists for these directories, but doing it one at a time is driving me nuts! I've been trying to get this done for a couple of months and still have a bunch left.

Is there an M3U generator that will crawl through the directories and generate an M3U file for that directory (only)?

I've looked and all the ones I find work on having you manually tell the program which directory to use, one at a time.

What he is trying to do is create a playlist file (M3U) for each oof his folders. The problem is that it is time consuming, and not very efficient to create them manually.

I don't know of any program that would do that, but maybe writting a quick program in vb to do that could be possible.

He wants to create a separate playlist for each folder.

I couldn't find a program to do it automatically, but this program looks like it will be pretty quick:

Playlist Creator - http://www.oddgravity.de/app-opc.php

Take a look in the settings. There are a few things you can check to speed up the process.

Literally all I have to do:

1. Drag in folder

2. Click "Create Playlist"

I'll look for MP3Tag to see if it does what I need. Thanks!

Basically, I have an SD card in my GPD that I play music from. The problem is, I have many directories with songs on them. What I have to do now is open up each directory, create an M3U for by selecting the songs, save it, and move to the next directory. I haven't even made a dent in the directories, and I have already spend a number of rather boring hours. I have a very long driving trip ahead and would love to be able to listen to the books and music without having to manually select on the GPS.

Thanks again... I hope this makes it a bit more clear. Oh- and I love the pancake-on-bunny picture!
