Bowtie on iPt4g

im not sure how many people out there in the internet use bow-tie but when i have it on both my iPod and mac and they are connected after about 30 to 60 seconds it will pop up with a message saying controller disconnected on the iPod. i know that ive got a good wireless signal between my mac and iPod is there something that could be making this happen on my mac or on my iPod or is the app just buggy? any help is very appreciated.

The App needs to run in focus, going to the homescreen will disconnect the app.

well i leave it up but it never stays connected

IMO the software is buggy. I have smiliar problems, when I pause a song on my PC and try to play it back again it fails and says disconnected. I have to bring up the iPod to make it work again.
