FDMSetup.exe

I'm wondering if anyone keeps getting bugged to install SDMSetup.exe I'm not sure if it's coming from websites that have a certain advertisement on them, that when moused over, will pop it up. I'm not infected by anything at the moment, but it kinda reminds me of when you stumble onto that SpywareDoctor (rouge antivirus) popup that says you're infected. Anyone know exactly where this is coming from?

How are you being bugged to install it? Is it being displayed through a web browser or is it popping up in Windows? It's definitely a virus or spyware.

It's a browser pop-up. Then it automatically opens another browser that asks me if i want to save the setup.

If you are constantly being prompted to install it, then it makes me suspect you already have something on your system. Is it a certain website that is doing it to you? Or where ever you go that file appears?

I first noticed it when I went to the Divx site when I was about to get the codec. It suddenly appeared.

i found it! it was an advertisement on the page that counts down and has a green download button. even if i don't click it, if i mouse over it, it prompted the download. it was driving me insane. thanks for your input :) i hope others might be aware of it, so careful everyone!
