Try this:

#urlbar,
#urlbar > :not(toolbarbutton):not(#identity-box),
#urlbar > toolbarbutton > image {
  -moz-transform: scaleX(-1) !important;
}

#urlbar .urlbar-history-dropmarker {
  display: none !important;
}

Only problem is the urlbar dropmarker will be on the left, unless you remove it like in the above code. It should work with any of our text field styles.

EDIT: Should probably mention, you don't need to move the buttons anywhere. They should stay to the right of the urlbar.

Holy crap, I can't believe those few lines did what previous took 50+ haha, amazing!

I haven't tested alpha 3 in XP, but alpha 2 worked fine. There isn't really a reason why it shouldn't work however.

Yeah I'm not really sure why the extension would have problems installing, I tried through the site's download button, using the Add from file... option, and dragging it into the browser, none of them worked. Maybe I'll need to redo my profile at work or something.

Try saving the xpi, open the addons tab, click on the cog button, and "Install add-on from file".

Sounds like a pretty cool add-on. I'll probably use it when you add the ability to change the color of the tabs and the tabs text color if possible. Also, if you add an option to change the tab colors by domain. That would make it very useful to me. In the meantime, I'll use ColorfulTabs. Keep up the great work, though!

Link broken?

Due to AMO's new review process, all unreviewed add-ons have been removed from their site until they have been partially reviewed. You can get the add-on here in the meantime: http://www.deviantart.com/users/outgoing?http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4019672/stratiform-1.0a3-fx-windows.xpi

Amazing add-on :D

Currently by default we have the tabs on the title bar when Firefox is maximized, would it be possible to add an option of having tabs on title bar even when when not in maximize mode? :yes:

Thank you ;)

Go to View > Toolbars > Tabs on top

I had the same problem, disable Stylish extension solved this.

And many options in Stratiform didn't work until I disable Stylish too.

I had,

Stratiform 1.0 apha 3

Stylish 1.1 beta 3

Firefox 4.0 beta 12

That's not what I meant :rofl:

What you're saying removing tabs from title bar...

I'm requesting to have tabs on title bar even when the window is non maximized...

I wouldn't mind having tabs on title when unmaximized either.

Especially since i got this stylish script now that allows me to drag from toolbars, like the statusbar. That elimantes the problem that when unmaximized, a lot of tabs would block the 'drag area' in the titlebar.

So I tried it again on my XP machine at work and it installed fine, but it doesn't work as smoothly as my Vista/7 machines.

The icon was not added to my status bar by default, and no tooltip came up asking me to customize it.

Secondly, the changes I make while in the add-on's customization page are not real-time, I have to restart the browser before they show up :/

If you previously used an older version of Stratiform on it please try a new profile. A lot changed internally between each version.

    • The very fact that a TPM (v2.0 specifically which is part of the issue I suspect) is now a baseline for any supported Windows installation will naturally mean other vendors will start to leverage it as they know it'll be there. It's called progress, and it's always been the way. A TPM isn't a windows thing, it's just a module designed to securely store keys. Secure boot isn't a Windows thing (although MS are the TCA as I recall hence the upheaval this year as the 2011 certs expire), it's just a way to verify a bootloader is signed. Windows simply leverages them.
    • It's a local account with the ability to reset a password at a very base level. I really don't get the issue that gets whipped up around it But you do you
