Yes, by using emerald instead of metacity for window borders.

Had to get xUbuntu off of my eeePC, it just takes up far too much space on the limited 4G SSD. Just a standard install screen at the moment, but Crunchbang installed a treat. Slim, fast and everything works out-the-box :D
