I pay ?6.99 a month to use MSN 8.5 here in the UK. And I provide my own connection to the net. When the new version comes out will I get to use Premium or Plus?

I am using MSN 6.0 and it won't let me go to..hotmail/msn ground/msn homepage or msn chat it won't even let me sign into messenger it says im not connected to the internet when I am I jus cant go on msn sites why? someone plz help me

I'm confused, so are they separate or if ur in MSN9 plus/premium they will automatically bundle wit' the latest Messenger 6.1? Or is it separate? I'm already in MSN9 beta, so do i need another guestID to get into 6.1 Messenger??

Current subscribers to MSN 8x will get MSN Premium as the subset of features are roughly equal. Those of you who are individual subscribers to MSN 8x might want to upgrade to the MSN Plus tier which gives you one account for an overall decreased expenditure.

To my knowledge, there is not a separate public beta for MSN Messenger ongoing. MSN Plus & MSN Premium are bundled w/ the latest versions at time of release.

Alright, now that the beta is going on...

State your view, problems, things that are still needed...etc.

-MSN Messenger for some reason doesn't audibly alert me to new emails. I checked to make sure that the .wav file was in the correct folder and i even went through the registry and all looks normal.

-Logitech's iTouch software isn't completely compatible even after a reinstall.

-The "Move to desktop." button on the dashboard, in my opinion, uses space which i think is needed for longer names.

Yea, I think that's a bug, cause it doesn't play the little chime when you get a new message...you're right.

As for the Dashboard thingie, I agree, but where else would they put that button?

If you right click on the name or in that area, the option to "Move to Desktop" is at the top of the menu that appears. The button is just extra and it takes away valuable real estate needed by longer names.

It doesn't play audible alerts because for some reason it doesn't install the .wav files needed. If anybody has these files, they could fix this problem.

I got into the Plus beta, can I upgrade to premium with out having to pay?

MSN is strictly a pay service...You cannot get around the fee at any rate.
