opendns. sign up for the service, block the website you wish. Point your router dns or point the pc dns to the open dns servers.

Other options would be an onsite proxy to block what ever sites based on rules you create.

If you know what you are doing, use the hosts file, otherwise try parental control software, or if you have a router, block it there

I was going to suggest exactly this. Block it through the PCs host file, just redirect it to something else.

How to do it. Where it is located?

just a google:

http://koffix.com/research/glossary/hosts-file.html

when someone will try to open a forbidden page, he will get the browser's page not found error

EDIT: the file is in C: Windows System32 Drivers etc (I'm on OSX atm and i dunno how to make backslash  )

When I edit this and tries to save host file it gives me error that I donot have permission.

Yes, you will have to copy the file to your desktop. Edit it and then replace the file.... If it still dont work give the dest Hostfile complete permission.

I had problems editing them few weeks ago in windows 7.

add this to Hosts and mywebsite.com is the website you want to block.

127.0.0.1 mywebsite.com

Any computer user with half a brain will check the hosts file. If you want to do it so they can't access it, setup a pc with ipcop or smoothwall, edit the hosts file on there, and route all traffic through that pc. One computer controls access to all others. Hosts file locally can be defeated instantly.
