I think it's going to be Battlefield for me, they're building it for PC and it looks like a 2011 game. Immersive, realistic and large online multiplayer. MW3 on the other hand looks ridiculous, like a 2008 game (I'm guessing this is still using the CoD 4 engine) and would be a console port.

Both look fun to play though.

I personally hate how BF fans are slating MW3 and praising BF3 even though they've played neither and neither is anywhere near finished :/

Anyways, going to purchase both for Xbox 360.

I wouldn't call it slating really - more like a distinct lack of optimism in new games in the franchise. Nothing new has really been done since COD4, and even the most die hard fans are starting to realise that. MW3 might turn out to be a fantastic game, but I think most are disollusioned by BLOPS and MW2.

Both, I see no reason to limit myself to one.

I don't know who are buying their games full price these days either, especially when it comes to CoD, I have bought the last 3 CoD games on release night cheaper than pretty much all other new games in the last few years.

I have a feeling that even although the COD hype cycle hits ever year (OMG POS FRANCHISE... okay bought.... it's good!... OMG BROKEN PIECE OF UNFAIR POS, BOYCOTTING, and repeat), MW3 will end up being a really good MP game, and the one everyone will be playing.

That said, BF3 will also be really good.

So I'll just wait and see how it pans out, absolutely no point to pledge allegiances just now.

The hype cycle in my experience was - OMG a new COD it's gonna be so awesome, everyone get it! Then everyone (including me) gets it and half if not more are incredibly disappointed. - And it ends there. Battlefield games have a lasting player base because (in my experience) they have much better game play.

This ^^

I'm not going to pay $60 for another crappy console port, that looks like it time warped from 2008. I will on the other hand gladly hand over $60 for a real 2011 PC game, such as BF3. In fact I may pre-order it from EA's store. I haven't decided yet.

I may get MW3 when it hits the bargain bin on steam or something, but it's definitely not a must have IMO.

Just wanted to say thanks so far for contributing to the poll and conversation, 94 member votes at the moment.

This. Even though I'll be playing on XBL + Xbox 360.

I responded both, although I have made it pretty clear on these forums I much prefer the Battlefield series, I am a gamer at the end of the day, and as such I will experience both.

Me too, and for the same reasons. (Y)

I'm confused why people want MW3 for multiplayer and single player for BF3. Battlefield has always focused more on multiplayer than SP so I'm quite surprised about that. With my experience with CoD games, they are more of a frag fest than anything. People running around with 2 knifes, jumping through windows and killing people and stuff like that. With playing both MW2 and Black Ops, Battlefield 2 and BFBC2 feel much better games (though, I prefer BC2 more). The huge maps, the vehicles. And the one thing people are forgetting about BF3 multiplayer, 64 player servers! <3

BF3 on PC for sure, even bought new hardware for it already. Pre-ordered when was announced and sucks having to wait so long but surely will be worth it.

MW3 is just going be snorefest of the same old everything that was in MW, MW2 with more utter rubbish layered on top that people play then makes those people think they have a valid informed opinion about guns and functioning of the military and special forces.

    • Really? Despite the memory price rises, nothing can kill it? I thought something would.
    • I think there will be a 27H1 for actual users of 26H1 The 25h2 supports ARM too : Snapdragon X, Snapdragon X Plus and Snapdragon X Elite
    • Poll: Grand Theft Auto VI price predictions, cast your vote by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe After years of waiting, Rockstar will be solidifying the launch date of Grand Theft Auto VI with the launch of pre-orders next week. While the studio has confirmed a date for this occasion, it is yet to attach a price to the highly anticipated game. So let's see what our readers think it will cost at launch. The Grand Theft Auto VI pre-orders will kick off on June 25 for digital and physical editions. Unless some last-minute changes happen, the release date will be November 19, 2026, across Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Unfortunately, there's still no information about a PC version from the developer or the publisher Take-Two. Now the question becomes, how much will Grand Theft Auto VI cost at launch? The game is predicted by some analysts to be the biggest launch of an entertainment product ever. With the amount of hype that has been built behind it and with ballooning development costs, Take-Two may price this Grand Theft Auto entry differently from other AAA titles. The current price of a AAA game is $69.99. That norm almost rose to $79.99 before calming down. But with such a massive release, Grand Theft Auto VI may be the game that pushes the boundary again. It's also possible that Take-Two keeps the price relatively low to increase the number of players that jump in early and keep them hooked on Grand Theft Auto Online to spend on microtransactions for years to come. Keep in mind that the below poll is asking for a prediction of the standard edition price, not a deluxe or any other special edition that Take-Two will introduce for additional benefits. Also, there is the chance of the company splitting up the campaign and online portions. If you think that will happen, put your vote on what you think will be the total cost of the two.
