win10 MP4 playback = no sound, but video

So trying to watch a video in the mp4 format, I see the video, but there is no audio. I converted the file to AVI and suddenly have sound. I am using the latest codecs from shark007.net and have even uninstalled/re-installed with the same effect. I can watch any other format just fine mkv,avi,mov, etc but mp4 has no sound. I am using Cowon Jetaudio as my default media player.

Have you tried other apps? works for me with the built in app, WMP and MPC-HC

Did not install any codecs form any 3rd party sites, don't trust any of them and it played fone, audio and video

Have you tried using something like VLC Player, WMP or any other ones?

Also, make sure that your software has the right output device selected. I know with Foobar2000, it messes up occasionally when I have it running through a different port.

The Audio stream could've been disabled by accident, I do that occasionally in VLC player, i forget and press hotkeys. Lol

So I tried it in an alternate player and it plays with audio. I tried opening 3 other mp4's and they all played fine in Jetaudio so IDK what the issue is with this particular file.

open the video using mediainfo, choose "text" mode when you run it for the first time then paste your results in here. DTS audio doesn't work in win 10's video player, some other audio codecs won't work too.
