Can't say I know of any bands I listen to that I'd consider emo.  Anyone care to recommend me some Emo bands they think are good, that...

-Don't have whiny vocals

-Have impressive and unique musicianship

-Aren't so underground I can't find material by them

Thank!

If you are starting a post asking a question about something I would recommend actually posting the info about it so it would help us out. I listen to emo. I do not find anything bad in it. I enjoy listening to it after a long day at work or school.

Hoobastank is good. So is Yellowcard.

Well that's sure a ****ing nice way to treat someone who's just trying to contribute to a topic. Obviously, more than just 12 year old girls listen to those bands asswipe, next time argue with a little more, say, facts, intelligence, manners, etc.

I've been seeing more and more reports coming out of The Media Room for trolling and flaming, all relating to those with differing opinions on various musical genres who decided to rain on others' parades. This has to stop. If you don't like a particular genre of music, don't feel the need to let others know this, unless the thread has requested that expression opinion. An example would be going into a thread for a new polka song and saying "d00d, polka is teh suck!". The polka lovers in there would not appreciate it, and it adds absolutely nothing to the thread. In particular, please don't add your own comments on the personality or character of an individual based on their choice in music. "You like country, you must be stupid" is what not to say. Hopefully you guys can grow up a little and learn to appreciate the fact that music is entirely subjective. You don't have to like everything out there, but that doesn't make the things you don't like any less musicaly valid.

Some people still need to read the rules of this forum.

And If I wanted to go down to your level and post unintelligible drab I would say that I find emo to be generally bands who suck and sound like whiny pussies they are the are they would be the country music of the rock and roll spectrum. And if you want to just sit there and cry sweet go for it.

However I will say that I don?t care for just about any of it; but each to his own.

    • Depends on what you need. Might be a bit clearer on what you plan to do with it. Sort of a waste if you get the newest and greatest, but don't know how to use it.

    • Hi everyone, I'm planning a small network upgrade and was wondering how others prepare their networks for future needs. Do you usually invest in higher-speed switches and better cabling from the start, or do you upgrade only when necessary? I'd be interested in hearing what has worked well for you and any lessons you've learned over time. Thanks!
