Windows 8 not Metro enough?

Microsoft needs a team dedicated to bring Metro fully to the desktop side of things. They have the budget to do this, so I don't see what's holding them back? It's sad to see people designing Metro on desktop better than MS could (at least with what we've seen so far).

They may have left the Desktop mode looking a lot like Aero in order to give users who are resistant to change some comfort. I realise they completely redesigned the operating system with Windows XP and then Windows Vista, but Windows 8 actually completely changes how everything has previously functioned, and completely changes the user interface, with the introduction of the Metro experience, so them leaving the desktop mode looking like Aero could be part of a process to help some users slowly adjust.

I do hope I'm wrong, though, and I hope we see a completely Metro-inspired Desktop design on Wednesday :D

      If Ford would stop hiring SUITS to run the company, and put CAR GUYS back in charge perhaps they could do better. Heck, the only CAR they produce today is the Mustang. Hey Ford! Not everyone needs/wants an overpriced SUV or pickup truck that is so tall you have to have a step ladder to get in and out of it.

      Amazing how some will just jump all over something. Probably the same people that thought Musk was a "tech god" before he saddled up with "bad orange man". Before, they worshiped at his feet, including a lot of so called hollywood types. Now, because he fell off the plantation truck, they toss him under the bus.
