Is anyone else having problems with Flash video playback in IE10, desktop? It plays fine, but when I go to fullscreen, and then swap to another app on my second display, it exits fullscreen mode...

I have that issue as well, but on top of that flash is also locking up my computer. If youtube is open too long (seems to happen with both Opera and Chrome) then my computer will lock up, and i have to pull the plug just to restart it. This is becoming quite a pain.

It's annoying enough that I've just installed Chrome (I've also been getting some random crashes in IE today, too). Lo and behold, Flash is working properly again.

Seeing as how flash is installed in Win8RP be default if you went and installed flash again on your own that could be why you're having issues now. Something broke it seems. I've seen posts with people who have issues even in chrome as well.

If Flash is locking up your computer it is likely the same issue I had. Update your nVidia display drivers to 301.42. Go with the Win7 driver, not the Win8 driver which was for the old Consumer Preview.

This driver will fix your system freezes.

Not particularly relevant, but 4gig RAM, E8400 CPU @ 3ghz, ATI HD5770. couple of TB of HD space.

Nope, didn't reinstall flash. I'm well aware that it's pre-installed.

ATI HD5770 using Win8CP driver. No nVidia here. AFAIK. there aren't any issues with the Win8 ATI drivers...

TBH, I'm not that concerned by the crashing... Things are still beta after all; they'll settle down. It's the flash dropping from full screen mode that's getting up my nose. :p

Try the flash from here http://www.filehippo.com/
Their files fixed flash for me, in waterfox(firefox) and also fixed a directx error.
