I own a Razer Deathadder and It works great without a driver. The only problem I have is the topic. Right now button 4 functions as "Back" in webpages etc', I want it to do something else. I don't want to install the Razer driver just for that. (Very bulky, don't want it on my system)
Is there any other way to achieve that without installing the drivers?

I use X-mouse button control. Been using it for years to remap button 3 (button built into scroll wheel) to take me to previous webpage. It's a shame Microsoft doesn't have more options built into the OS for remapping mouse buttons.
