Hello,
how I can remove an Metro App Icon?

I not watch out for it and got the KB976002 update. (This is the update for the browserchoice screen)
With a trick that I found I could deinstall this update.

But the icon for the browserchoice remains on the Metro screen. With a rightclick I can choose only if I want the icon on the Metro start Screen or not. On the "all apps screen I have an icon on the start Screen a big gray tile.

How I can remove this? I tried the registry, but I found 3 different entries, with values that seems to me are the next or previous items, I don't know if it safe to delete this registry entries.

As far as I know - all Apps will show just that All Apps, no matter if you have removed it from Start Screen or not. For me, I really don't care if it is in All Apps (whatever app I remove from start), since I don't look at all apps.

if someone have the same question, open C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs and remove the browserchoice shortcut.
