question Unable to upload Word documents

I apparently can't upload a Word file in the .docx format. The basic uploader doesn't do anything when I select the file and click attach.

The advanced uploader states I am not permitted to upload files of this type.

I would compress it as a zip file and then try.

to do this; right click the document then, choose "send to" and "compressed (zipped) folder

It occurred to me after posting this topic to go back and change the file format. For some reason, the forum won't accept the newer office file format. I saved my Word document in the Word 97-2003 format and was able to upload it to my post over in the software support forum.

.docx will probably be supported when we upgrade (soon) to 3.4.4
