Gator
Direct Connect for OS X is finally here. I used to us DC way back when on XP and I thought it was a great file sharing program. The interface is very nice: http://www.neo-modus.com/ Edited December 9, 2002 by GatorZx2

jago6498
Cool. I'll second that, it is an excellent program on the PC. I have downloaded many, many, many Dreamcast games. It takes a little of time to get used to the interface and finding stuff, but after that it can get ADDICTING!!!
uiop
does this have any spyware or something?
Tim Dorr Veteran Posted December 9, 2002 Veteran Share Posted December 9, 2002 I don't think I've heard of any spyware for the mac, but I know DC has never had any in the official client (at least, taht's what I thought....)
jago6498
I don't think I've heard of any spyware for the mac, but I know DC has never had any in the official client (at least, taht's what I thought....) I'm not sure about the Mac version having spyware, but I have not had any problems with spyware on the PC version. If there ever was, Ad-aware has removed it without damaging the program. aco Veteran Posted December 10, 2002 Veteran Share Posted December 10, 2002 There is an advertisment banner in DC, but that is as far as it goes. :D
cerbero
Cool. I'll have to try this when I get home from school. It's no Kazaa, but it's better than all the Gnutella and what-not clients currently available for the Mac (if we're talking music).
