Windows 7 Shell Integration plugin for foobar2000 - jumplist + interactive thumbnail support

I noticed a 2nd bug with this plugin, it removes foobar2000 from Flip 3D (Win+Tab). I removed the plugin, and foobar2000 came back to Flip 3D. I stopped using it for now.

Hey guys, I'll be releasing a project I've been working on soon -- it's a custom application launcher made just for Windows 7. Here's a screenshot preview:

I should have a working alpha/beta out soon. I'll be sure to add it to the OP once it's ready. Though if anyone wants an early preview or wants to help test it, just send me a PM and I'll provide a download link to what I've got so far.

And btw it look nice from now :)

Hi,

there's also my Windows 7 logon background changer built with .net/Windows Presentation Foundation.

yes I know, yet another logon changer, but this one looks more modern than traditional windows forms app out there ^^

also, it is more UAC friendly, since it asks you admin rights only the first time you use it

I love it, works great and looks stunning to boot!

I've made another windows 7 friendly application. This one uses the taskbar progress bar feature introduced in Windows 7. This application will also run on xp and vista with .net 3.5.

It's an MD5/SHA1 hash generator with shell integration, but it also allows you to check the generated hash online to see if it matches one of the original Windows 7 (and some other MS products) iso hash, to ensure your newly downloaded windows 7 iso file is safe (untouched, malware free), and not corrupt.

I don't like that you've included tweaking tools...seems pointless....

As for that firewall control software, it seems unnecessary

I didn't originally intend to include those but others posted them so I figured why not? That's when I decided to categorize the apps into sections and listed those apps last (least relevant but still useful). As for the firewall control software, I haven't tested it so I can't say for sure. I'll remove it if needed.

This thread should be called "Apps made with Windows 7 in mind"

Yeah if a mod wouldn't mind changing it that would be great.

Added another tweak utility. Also added headers to make the 2 distinct classes of apps (in this case) more visible: the apps that actually implement Windows 7 features (taskbar-related mostly) and the ones that don't (but are still made for Windows 7).

Win7shell for Winamp

2wm2ct2.pngzv1stk.pngoszo5s.png

The Player Controls show when the Plugin is first started with WinAmp then when you go back to the task bar icon for a second time the Player Controls are gone (Not There)

Could this be a bug you have not fixed yet.

I think the Plugin is just GREAT!!!!!

Keep Up The Good Work!!!!!

    • draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 by Razvan Serea draw.io desktop is a downloadable security-first diagramming application that runs on Windows, MacOS and Linux. Creating diagrams in the desktop app doesn’t need an internet connection. This is useful when you are disconnected or when you must create diagrams in a highly secure environment, where data protection is of the utmost importance. When you use the draw.io desktop app, your diagrams will be stored on your local device. Because this is a stand-alone application, also designed to run offline, there are no interfaces to cloud storage platforms available. Of course, you can still store your diagrams in folders that are synchronised to your cloud storage if you wish. Easy-to-use diagram editor The draw.io apps work just like the office and drawing tools you are used to using. Drag and drop shapes from the shape libraries and drag to draw connectors between them. Drag connectors to add waypoints and set a precise shape and position, or let them reroute automatically. Double click and start typing to add a label to anything. Create tables and swimlane flows with a familiar tool. Style shapes and connectors with customisable palettes, sketch options, fonts and text formatting tools. Search for shapes, including in open-source icon libraries. Use our vast libraries of shapes and templates, organised into logical categories, to create a range of diagrams and infographics. Generate diagrams from text descriptions using our smart templates. Diagram faster with keyboard shortcuts. draw.io Desktop 30.2.6 changelog: Uses electron 42.5.0 #2452 Updates to draw.io core 30.2.6.
