Mirabilis has released a new alpha version of ICQ, the most famous instant messenger system available today. There are still some know issues in this version but it is supposed to fix some bugs. These issues are:

  • The Chat module doesn't work in the ICQ Web Front feature.

  • There is no Help file for this version.

  • The "Future User Watch" doesn't work in this Alpha version.

  • This Alpha version doesn't work in WIN95 OS Explorer version 3.5 and below.

    New features:

  • Pick and choose your favorite ICQ features.

  • Share and exchange files.

  • Contact List on servers.

  • Save/Load Contact List.

  • Message spell checker, cool icons and emotions.

  • Automatic Firewall detection.

  • Improved Whitepages search.

  • Security & Privacy Permissions in one place.

  • Set your ICQ Email Signature.
