Microsoft finally announces an Xbox Insider blog

Today, Microsoft announced the Xbox Insider blog, a place where you can find "all Xbox Insider-related news is in one convenient location." It's a subset of Xbox Wire - the website that Microsoft uses for Xbox news - just like the Windows Insider blog is part of the Windows Blog.

The Xbox Insider Program has been lacking a real home for some time. Even before it was launched a year ago, when it was the Xbox One Preview Program, build release notes were only available on the Xbox forums, and users had to be a registered member of the program just to view them. Remember, the Preview Program, and now some rings of the Insider Program, aren't open to everyone.

More recently, the company has taken to posting build release notes on Reddit, which hardly seems like the proper place for something like that. Now, there's finally a centralized hub that anyone can visit to check out what's going on with the Xbox Insider Program.

You can check out the new Xbox Insider blog here, or if you visit the Xbox Wire website, just click on the Xbox Insider tab.
