Microsoft is offering certified refurbished Xbox Series X consoles through its U.S. Microsoft Store, which suggests only gamers residing in America will be able to buy one. There are a couple more conditions. These refurbished consoles cost $469.99 per unit. However, interested buyers will not be able to purchase one at the list price.
Microsoft mandates that each buyer must also purchase at least one digital game. The company is currently offering about a dozen game titles for purchase. Those interested in acquiring the cheapest one available should add Monopoly Plus + Monopoly Madness, which is listed at $27.49.
After selecting the refurbished game console, and picking a digital game to the shopping list, gamers will also have to buy a controller. To keep the final checkout price to the minimum possible, add the robot white Xbox Wireless Controller, listed at $54.99.
The grand total for the most affordable but refurbished Microsoft Xbox Series X comes to $552.47. Microsoft is offering free shipping anywhere in the United States of America. Gamers will notice that the final price comes quite close to the third-party listings on eBay. But Microsoft has sweetened the deal by selling a controller and a game at the asking price.
Gamers, or those interested in purchasing a Microsoft refurbished Xbox Series X gaming console, will receive a product that has been screened, repaired, tested, and cleaned to Microsoft’s standards. The company is also throwing in a standard 12-month warranty, which should be enough for a refurbished unit. To keep the scalping at a minimum, Microsoft has implemented a limit of one console per customer.
