Stardock has announced that it is working on a massively multiplayer real time strategy game called Society.
In Society, players share a world with thousands of other players. Most of their time is spent building their cities, claiming resources, and negotiating with other players. Of course, there is also warfare to settle differences that diplomacy cannot resolve.
Gamespot has an article that goes over some of the first impressions from the game. But don't get too excited, it won't even go into beta for a year.
