A new report claims, via unnamed sources, that AMD will be launching a limited number of new FX processors, code name "Centurion" that will have a clock speed of 5 GHz.

The same person who broke the PC desktop processor overclocking record has done it once again, pushing up the clock speed of an AMD Bulldozer processor to 8.5848 GHz.
