The Peacock streaming service will be increasing prices for both its ad-based and ad-free plans on July 18 for new customers, just a few days before it starts streaming the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Peacock was the (nearly) exclusive home of the NFL AFC Wild Card playoff game on Jan. 13, and that event had 23 million people view the match. NBC claims that it was the "largest Internet event ever."

The streaming service Peacock has increased the monthly price of its Premium and Premium Plus tiers. The updated pricing will cost users around $1-2 on top of what they are paying every month.

Snap has extended content deals with Disney, ViacomCBS, and NBCUniversal. This will see them continue to provide shows in Snapchat Discover and even increase the number of shows available.

Peacock announced today that its streaming platform will be available on Sony's PlayStation 4 and 4 Pro on July 20. NBCUniversal is scheduled to launch the service in the U.S. on July 15.

Comcast will roll out Peacock to the Xbox family of devices including Xbox One S and Xbox One X. The streaming service will be available for download through the Microsoft Store on July 15.
