Open WebOS got its 1.0 release today and while HP was showing it off on a PC another group ported the operating system to the Galaxy Nexus. It's not ready for full time use but it's getting there.
The first public beta version of the open sourced version of WebOS has been launched for both desktop and embedded devices, nine months since HP revealed its open source plans for WebOS.
Are you one of the lucky few that picked up a WebOS device? Good news, it's still not dead. HP announced today that "Open WebOS" will be available come September 2012, and expect even more updates.
