Realme X3 SuperZoom with 60x hybrid zoom and 120Hz display announced for Europe

Realme has announced a new flagship phone for Europe: the Realme X3 SuperZoom. As the name of the device indicates, its highlight is the periscope zoom lens which offers up to 60x hybrid zoom. Other specs of the device are also pretty interesting and a mix of 2019 and 2020 components to ensure it has a very competitive price.

The Realme X3 SuperZoom features a 6.6-inch 120Hz LCD panel with FHD+ resolution at the front. The display does have a sizable chin at the bottom which is a side effect of the LCD panel. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the power button located on the right edge of the display. Inside the phone is a Snapdragon 855+ chipset which is cooled using a vapor cooling system. This is paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. The device is powered by a 4,200mAh battery with 30W Dart Charge support. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi AC, LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Dual-frequency GPS, and USB-C connectivity. NFC is notably absent from the phone.

The rear of the Realme X3 SuperZoom features a quad-camera setup This includes a primary 64MP shooter, an 8MP ultrawide, another 8MP camera with 5x periscope zoom lens and 122mm focal length, and a 2MP macro sensor. Using the periscope zoom lens and the primary 64MP camera, the Realme X3 SuperZoom is able to offer 60x hybrid zoom. Other camera features include Nightscape 4.0, Pro Mode, Tripod mode, and more. At the front, there's a 32MP primary selfie shooter accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide angle shooter.

The Realme X3 SuperZoom goes up for pre-order in Spain and the UK from today on realme.com. It will go on sale from June 4th for €499. It will be available in Arctic White and Glacier Blue colors.
