Apple's Airpods are available from today with 'click and collect' delivery

Apple has activated in-store pickup on its website with its "click and collect" feature, meaning that if your local Apple store - or certified retailer - has the earphones in stock, you can go and collect them today.

The news comes after Apple had previously announced indefinite delays for the earphones in October, before accepting the very first orders last week. However, due to massive demand for the earphones, customers are now warned of delays of at least six weeks - if they require delivery. Those who placed their order early were assured of delivery by December 22nd.

Despite the 6-week delay for orders from Apple.com, the AirPods have been spotted on Verizon"s website, although is currently out of stock. Apple will continue to supply certified retailers with regular shipments, so its worth checking the different retail avenues regularly if you want to grab a pair ahead of Christmas. One Best Buy user was told to expect delivery by February, but was then notified of successful shipment.

Many individuals are also taking advantage of eBay to resell their AirPods, with prices varying from $200 to $500.
