Microsoft confirms no Windows 11 build is coming this week but we may get one in the next

Microsoft has confirmed that Windows 11 Insiders won"t be getting a new build this week in either the Dev Channel or the Beta Channel. The last feature-heavy build for both the channels was announced last week with Build 22581. Find its details here.

Here"s today"s full announcement that was made on Twitter:

Hey Folks - Just a heads up that we won"t have a new #Windows11 flight for #WindowsInsiders in the Dev & Beta Channels this week. We hope to be back at it again next week with a fresh build! Tx ^AL

Unlike last time though, the firm isn"t providing any detail at all about why we are missing out on a significant build this week. For example, previously Microsoft said that the build din"t quite meet its "quality bar" set for release. In fact, it took two weeks for Microsoft to approve the next major Windows 11 build.

While we wait for a new build that could be coming next week, Insiders can use this time to switch or change channels if they wanted from the Dev channel over to the Beta. If you are wondering how to do so, here"s a handy guide we made that you can use.
