Microsoft Store gives 1600 free Microsoft Points for some Xbox 360 game pre-orders

While all of us await word on when Microsoft will officially announce its next Xbox gaming console, there"s still a lot of cool games coming out in the next several months for the current Xbox 360 hardware. Now, the Microsoft Store website has a nice offer for people who want to pre-order a number of those games.

The store"s site lists 10 Xbox 360 third-party titles as part of the offer. Each pre-order for those games will give the person 1600 Microsoft Points for free. That essentially lowers the price of each of these games down to the equivalent of $39.99. The offer is also available if you visit selected Microsoft Store retail locations.

The games that are a part of the special Microsoft Store offer are Grand Theft Auto V, BioShock Infinite, Tomb Raider, Lost Planet 3, Crysis 3, Metal Gear Rising Revengeance, Army of Two: The Devil"s Cartel, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14, Dead Space 3 and South Park: The Stick of Truth.

The free Microsoft Points offer from Microsoft ends on April 7, or if the game that you want to buy on the list is released, since it can no longer be pre-ordered, natch.
