Samsung will launch a new Galaxy S25 model soon, here's how to watch the event

Samsung is set to kick off its third hardware event of the year this week, unveiling its latest Galaxy AI features and new devices. The company will host its Galaxy Event (not calling it Unpacked, though) at the IFA 2025 tech conference in Berlin, where it has also set up its exhibition booths.

"Join us on September 4 to discover a more seamless mobile experience across a wider range of devices — from premium AI tablets to the newest member of the Galaxy S25 family," Samsung said in its invitation for the event.

Samsung added that its upcoming AI features will focus on multimodal capabilities to improve productivity for users. A multimodal AI can process different forms of data, such as text, images, voice commands, etc., which gives it an edge over text-only chatbots.

The South Korean giant said that it will livestream the Galaxy Event on September 4 on its official YouTube channel and Samsung.com. You can also watch the live event by returning to this page. Depending on your timezone, the livestream will start at 11:30 am CEST / 5:30 am ET / 2:30 am PT / 9:30 am GMT / 3:00 pm IST.

Speaking of hardware launches, Samsung is expected to bring a new member to the Galaxy S25 series launched earlier this year, called Galaxy S25 FE. It will be the fifth device on the lineup, which already includes Galaxy S25, S25+, S25 Ultra, and its thinnest smartphone, S25 Edge.

Devices that carry the "Fan Edition" moniker are meant to give buyers a taste of Samsung"s flagship phones while keeping things light on the pocket. Samsung has released four Galaxy S "FE" models since 2020, when the company made a big change to the S series naming scheme. However, the Fan Edition has been around since 2017, when the Galaxy Note FE arrived.

Rumors circulating over the past few months suggest the Galaxy S25 could be powered by Exynos 2500, feature a 12MP selfie camera, and come in four color options. Samsung"s launch event will also feature "premium AI tablets," which are most likely to include the Galaxy Tab S11 series. You can reserve the upcoming Galaxy Tab and get a $50 store credit from the company.

Note: The article was updated to add more clarity about the launch of Fan Edition devices.
