When I turn on my Dell Precision T1600 (2012, UEFI A07), I get:
Quote
Invalid configuration information - please run SETUP program.
Time-of-day not set - please run SETUP program.
To continue press F1 key
To change setup option press F2 key
To run onboard diagnostics press F5 key
The service manual states:
Quote
Error message: Time-of-day clock stopped
Description: The battery might be dead
Error message: Time-of-day not set-please run the System Setup program
Description: The time or date stored in System Setup does not match the computer clock.
I have changed the motherboard battery but to no avail.
I can continue to Windows.
I've set the correct time in the UEFI and Windows shows the correct time and date but it still happens when I shut the system down and start it back up.
