Giving it a try, I wasn't exactly impressed with AVG Free save for the fact that it seemed very light.

less than three or four megs. i dont know exactly cause there a re a bunch of different services and i cant be assed to add em all up.

when choosing an AV, you should look for the one that stops viruses the best, not the one that uses the least resources IMO. ovbiously howvere, if something is taking up 60 megs of ram, its not worth it, even if it was the best of the best.

i used to have norton, it caused me many problems and slowed down my machine.

now i have mcafee, uses 10 mb of ram in total, but their virus updates are too slow.

I heard that nod32 can clean a 40gb hard drive in 30seceonds, is that true?

I'm a firm believer in NOD32 .. The scanning engine is excellent .. Scans fast and doesn't bring your system to its knees while its scanning like a lot of others ..
