Vykranth Posted September 14, 2004 Share Posted September 14, 2004 So far so good, it does load faster compared to 6.0.2 even after an Acrobat Speed-up and it reads all the PDF files I fed it :) It does its job and that's already a good thing I lost the icons for PDF in Explorer but that is something that a rebuilt icon cache will fix. :cry: It is still a 18 Mb download: that is just plain heavy for a reader, especially since 99.99% of users have for viewing and printing PDF Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
rob2090 Posted September 14, 2004 Share Posted September 14, 2004 Many of you may have this thing tweaked but here's how you can speed it up: go to your Adobe Reader folder, rename the plug_ins folder into plug_ins_disabled, now create another plug_ins folder, and copy the following files from the _disabled one into the new one: EWH32.api, printme.api, Search.api Now start up and see if it's working.
