Hotmail Upgrades Mailbox now 1GB

I just logged into my Hotmail inbox and noticed that they have raised the size from 250MB to 1GB.

I guess I should clarify if you a WINDOWS LIVE e-mail address you have 2GB.

If you have a HOTMAIL address formerly at 250MB you should now have 1GB.

And yes I know and most likely everybody else is aware GMail has more space etc. Many of us have Gmail and hotmail.

lol, I just quit the beta and found that as well.

I was sick of the red message I was faced with using the light version of Live Mail so I reverted to Hotmail.

1GB? in the old hotmail? I've had 2GB's for awhile now.. i couldn't login to hotmail with IE7, but i could get into hotmail with firefox.

Yeah, why were we given the 2GB? Strange... I remember one day, I opened it, and I had 2GBs. And that was in the days of the 2MB inbox.

I sile seeing hotmail improving, they were witouth evoluting for years, now they are with Live Mail etc, but we should all thank competition (GMail, Google)
