ViperAFK
sounds like a good idea. And to the people bashing norton I don't use it but the new version is MUCH better than the older resource hogging ones. CPressland
You know what, after 10 minutes or so of using it i'm very impressed. It only took 11 seconds to install on this machine. Barely registering on the I/O and CPU side of things. Going to throw a few viruses at it now. Beastage
lol wot?! I don't see why it shouldn't be exactly like the regular anti virus or why the regular one shouldn't be exactly like the gamer edition.... They like admit their regular antivirus isn't light and fast... while 2009 is really an imporvement. tsupersonic
Well, not bad, NAV did great in the August '08 AV-comparatives test. I like where Symantec is taking NAV, much better than the older bloated generations. i_was_here
They should just make one version of Norton Antivirus and have an option to select between a gaming profile or normal profile. Danrarbc
I've gotta say, Norton is moving in the right direction here. That's more than I can say for McAfee. Lighter, fewer processes, more definition updates, faster. All they have to do i prove they can detect viruses better than in the past and they can get some market share back. mtrftw
I wish people actually tried NAV2009 before saying that it's bloated or slow or whatever. It's obvious that you haven't and it only makes you look foolish. If it has poor detection that's one thing, but there's no way that someone can install it and say that it's slow or bloated.
