,Sep 27 2003, 20:34] just checked it out radish.. its good colors, but i think the edges are lacking a good border.. it just looks like a blue mask.

Thanks for the input , I've added a better border to the skin, tell me what you think? :) ....

So what Trillian Pro skins do you guys use with this style?

Trillian is so frustrating to try to find a matching skin with. I'm actually considering switching to using the AIM and MSN clients so I won't have to deal with finding skins for individual applications to match the visual style...

They should've programmed a regular theme-aware GUI into trillian. I hate how all these authors are moving towards "skinnable" apps. Everytime a cool new vs comes out, you gotta wait for someone to port a skin or you have to search for a skin to match it. We can skin with msstyles and WindowBlinds now, authors! We don't need skins anymore!

I could not agree more.

I have been tossing around the idea of making an app that will convert a visual style into a trillian skin (essentially just use the base stixe style for trillian and use the colors/fonts from the visual style). I don't think I'll have much free time to work on this, but maybe someday...

Well, if they don't use stixe, how would the interface (toolbars, window setups, etc) be designed? It would have to mimic a standard windows layout which is essentiall what the stixe interface is...

Stixe is a just an easy way to create new Trillian skins because the template is simple. A convertor could be designed to use a whole different template.
