The taskbar is still cutting 5 character of from Windows Classic Style.

Also I don't suppose you could make a version of this style for Trillian could you, right now Trillian 2.0 with the Whistler skin doesn't really blend in with your skin.

OT: Where is the official page for Yz Dock? I'm not having to much luck with Google.

The compact Start menu, the "Turn Off Computer" is all cut off. Can that be fixed?

The backgrounds on the selected taskbar could be a shade darker.

People wanted a compact menu, so they got one :D

I wanted to make it really compact, not half and half. If you look at my screen the text says Shut Down instead, and hence no clipping. I can't remember how you do this in XP, I think you have to disable something, I'm running 2003 so it was native.

I might even get rid of the text completely...

Opaul: I set the content margins all as minimal as I could, so there really is nothing I can do about it. I think you'll find this is the case with ANY other VS you try (bar Classic), and is not related to this theme in particular.

Lookin really nice, just how I made it look with the blue taskbar...

The only problem I have is the compact start menu is too compact...

I use a laptop with a dock so I cant see the shutdown button because of the undock button. On most VS with compact I can at least see the edge of it enough to use it. I know very few people use docks prob so it's not a big deal, I can live...

Other than that it's lookin good...

Ok will make it a little bit wider. There is a normal start menu by the way, if you're not happy with the compact one, don't use it :)

Endoscient, yeah thats it. I always disabled that anyway, reminds me of a 'My First Operating System' login screen for children (unless you change the login UI to something nice) :)

Also, regarding your comment on the taskbar size, I want it small, and I dont want the taskbar buttons/bands to occupy the whole height of the bar, it not the style I want. Personally I think that the icon 'problem' isn't even a problem, I can't keep everybody happy, everyone likes / dislikes different things...

Anyone got comments on the blue taskbar? How are the buttons etc? How you feel about the shadow?

Definitely one of my favorite!

Only thing I can comment on is the startbutton, again. I just think the arrows look out of place because of the excellent styling you have going with the title bars and the start panel. I still think the stripe would look really nice as the start button.

Excellent work! Two thumbs! twothumbs.gif

Awesome. Shell colors are now perfect. Almost perfect. I would revert active caption color and inactive caption color :)

I love the blue taskbar. Compact menu seems a bit too compact to me though :)

Finally I still have this weird cropped button like I showed in the previous post I made - weird, as it doesn't seem to it everywhere else. And it wasn't doing it either with Opus -which still looks awesome to me! hard to choose between both)

Sincere thanks for you contributions, I just love switching themes now and then and yours are true gems.

Well I like comact menus alot better than regular ones. Don't change it though, I just thought I'd point it out to you...

I don't know if you were talking to me about this, but I think it's alot better in v1.5 now. For some reason though I like when it takes up the whole height...but thats just me. And you're right you cant make everyone happy. So just keep it how you want it, after all it is your art.

Take a look at this:

Hows that for compact :p

Thanks for the comments and suggestions!

@afunaki: I didn't mean that in a rude way, just re-read it and it comes across funny

Definately going to expand compact start panel a bit also....

New colours on the way, so if you want one, nows the time to ask! And also let me know what you think of the start button, would be helpful!

It supports magnet links, .torrent files, resume data, sequential downloading, per-file priorities, and even imports from qBittorrent. Power users benefit from integrated RSS auto-download with regex filtering, duplicate detection, and automatic tracker lists from Stremio. Streaming is seamless thanks to auto-detected players like VLC and IINA. It closes the remaining gaps with qBittorrent and fixes the Windows settings/tray/splash issues several of you hit. Fixed Settings now actually save. A whole class of preferences — speed limits (and the alternative limits), max active downloads, seed ratio, listen port, max connections, DHT/uTP/encryption, VPN interface, kill switch and proxy — weren't being persisted and reset to defaults on every launch. They now round-trip correctly. (Thanks to everyone who reported "the upload limit always goes back to 0".) Splash and tray toggles stick on Windows. Turning off the startup animation (or "close to tray") no longer reverts — the Windows registry stored these booleans as integers and the UI was misreading them. Close-to-tray hint. The first time the window hides to the tray you get a one-time notification, so the app doesn't look like it vanished (Windows 11 tucks new tray icons into the overflow). macOS Dock icon size. The icon filled its canvas edge-to-edge and rendered larger than neighbouring apps; it now uses the standard safe-area padding. Native file picker language. The "Torrent file / All files" filter in the open dialog follows the app language instead of being hard-coded. Added — qBittorrent parity Alternative speed limits toggle — a turtle button in the toolbar flips your throttled limits on/off instantly, independent of the scheduler. Follow system theme — switch light/dark automatically with the OS (Settings → Appearance). Pre-allocate disk space — reserve the full file size up front to reduce fragmentation (Settings → Downloads). Recheck data on add — optionally force a hash check when adding a torrent, so existing or partial files on disk are detected. Port status indicator — a 🔴 dot in the status bar shows whether your listen port looks reachable (UPnP/NAT-PMP + listen state; fully local, no external check). Add torrent from URL — File → Add torrent from URL (Ctrl+U) fetches a remote .torrent and routes it through the normal add dialog. Export .torrent — right-click a torrent → Export .torrent to save its metadata file. Already there (in case you missed it) Watch folder — auto-add .torrent files dropped into a monitored directory (Settings → Files). This release just surfaces it. Incomplete files already carry a .!bt suffix until they finish. Under the hood Regression tests for the settings-persistence and Windows boolean bugs. A new Qt Quick Test harness covering the startup splash and the design-system widgets. • Disabling open on hover, great! That was so stupid! They need to do a fix, where if a network share is disconnected, it doesn't hang when opening "This PC" for 20 seconds.
