This has no representation of how Microsoft handles Metro, the colors are messed up in this pack.

I completely disagree. I'm a big fan of everything metro - the IE9 buttons aren't as clean as possible, they're still chromed.

Commonsense dictates there are many who like to "skin" or "dress" up their systems, novelty? , perhaps but optional regardless.

When i was 13 i was at school and playing outside with friends and family, not on a pc, however.

I don't think it's a childish thing to do, I'm using soft7 2.0 now and I find my desktop looks much more attractive. It's less messy than standard aero and takes minimal effort to get working so why not?

Windows Themes are still worth using if done properly and UI changes are modest. Once you try Shine 2.0, there is no going back.
