But when i run kies with the phone connected nothing is being offered to me

has anyone else had this?

p.s a little toast notice pops up telling me there is a rom upgrade

EDIT: the firmware i have on the phone is PDA:JS5/PHONE:JPY/CSC:JS4 (TMU)
