Don't know if this has already been posted, but there is a work around to get a free account without an invite from the US - instructions here

Basically just use a UK proxy to make an account, then goto the site like you would normally but click on Premium account, then log in from there with the account you made with the proxy, then change the location from UK back to US

Thank you! Got it set up this morning, been listening to as much as possible to compare it to having Google Music as well.
