What's really funny about that Rappy is that Schrader didn't beg for his life. He wouldn't compromise his beliefs. Jack, he didn't give it a second thought about trying to save his own skin. Walt, he didn't give a crap. BANG!

The blood splatter on the camera really drove that death for me. I felt like it was a metaphor for Walt not giving a ###### about the Heisenberg legacy anymore.

Los Lunas, New Mexico science teacher and Breaking Bad fan Dave Layman created an obituary for Walter White and had it placed in the Albuquerque Journal newspaper.

Finally figured out once and for all that the show takes place in 2009-11, I'm guessing November-ish.

In early S4, while Hank is in recovery from getting gunned down by the cousins, Marie goes to the store and brings him a Fantasy Football magazine from 2010, to which Hank says "besides, the draft isn't for 2 more months".  Since most FF drafts are in August, that places this date around June.  According to this timeline, that's roughly 8 months from the beginning of the show.

Yeah well, the show takes place over 3 years pretty much.  Most of the series over 2 years and the last few episodes 'jump' a year.

2 years.  Ep.1 is his 50th birthday, Ep. 62 is his 52nd.

birthday 51th is at the beginning of season 5 right? so really most of the show (seasons 1-4) takes places during one year, then he turns 51, makes 8 barrels of money  (in about 6 months), and then in the last couple episodes we jump another 6 months

That's pretty much it.  If you look at the link in the timeline, he starts his "empire" with Mike and Jesse just before he turns 51.  But there was some confusion on when exactly it took place, what years (especially with mentioning bin Laden in one of the last episodes).  And so I believe I have it, with some certainty.

I started rewatching breaking bad and just finished season 1. I forgot how amazing it is in the early episodes!

Same here. I am on S03E01 and am loving watching it all over again.
