robertobaggio2k
Hey Guys, First i'd like to say that i'm not sure whether i'm posting this in the correct section, but since its about my car i figure this would be it. Anyways, i just recently purchased a 2007 VW City Jetta. It came with a 8 speaker sound system, and it includes an AUX input and a USB port right on the stock deck that the vehicle came with. I tried plugging in my iPhone 4 yesterday to listen to my music, and it tries reading it, but after a few secs i get Error 04. I tried google and the car manual but not a thing about usb errors at all.. Was hoping that maybe someone here had come across such error and could lead me towards the right path on how to fix this. Thanks a lot!
rajputwarrior
are you sure it supports iphone input and not just generic USB drivers? If it actually does. plug it in, do a hard reset of the iphone and that should kick it in. After every update i have to do this with my pioneer deck to get it going again. Don't know why exactly... nominak
If all else fails, buy an AUX cable and run it from the headphone jack to the AUX jack.
tkyoshi
It only supports USB Mass Storage which the iPhone does not support so that's why it won't work. You can however use a USB Stick though.
farmeunit
Sounds like the USB is for a flash drive and AUX for the iPhone (or other device). If you post the model of the radio, it would help us figure out if it's even supported.
