Looking for new music

Recommended Posts

I listen to a little bit of everything, but it seems to me the mainstream stuff is slowly going downhill. That or im getting old. Anyways, I recently discovered this (band, artist whatever) named Amethystium. I love the genre of this music, and would be interested to know if anyone else out there could point me in the direction of any other artists that sound like them. Or classical for that matter. I am also really into general ambient and minimal sounds. I guess im just bored with anything in general, and looking for opinions on what to listen to next.

Virtual Server. You can listen on grooveshark to preview and buy from amazon or beatport.

also M.I.K.E/push/his other 80 aliases has some of that as well.

Delirium is great as well.

I also recommend the OM lunge discs.

Shameless plug, but maybe you'd like my music.

Like you, I got sick and tired of mainstream, so I started my own thing (career), and just started pursuing this semi/pro the past 2 years. Take a listen; any and all feedback is very much welcome. :)

Your shameless plug worked, I love it, and I will buy it.

Hey, Amethystium are pretty nice. Little bit cheesy on the production/synth work but enjoyable for sure.

Check out Biosphere (as mentioned before), Vibrasphere and Carbon Based Lifeforms. Anything on Ultimae records is a good bet.

If you want things a bit moodier and generally trippier let us know.

And just to challenge your "little bit of everything": have a look at this:

    • WTF! Nah, not this one. If you were back then using computers in the 90s or you had a clue, you'd know this was huge and was seen and overused absolutely everywhere and you'd take this article as no more than a retrospective story. That's all it is.
    • these "editors" get paid by the amount of articles and not the quality of content; hence why we get this random stuff from the same "editor" time and time again.
    • 256 times the quality of an audio cd? I think audio cd's sound good so even twice as good as that would be something.
    • It’s not about the NOx. It’s about the electrical field.
