Looking for new music

I listen to a little bit of everything, but it seems to me the mainstream stuff is slowly going downhill. That or im getting old. Anyways, I recently discovered this (band, artist whatever) named Amethystium. I love the genre of this music, and would be interested to know if anyone else out there could point me in the direction of any other artists that sound like them. Or classical for that matter. I am also really into general ambient and minimal sounds. I guess im just bored with anything in general, and looking for opinions on what to listen to next.

This stuff is killer. I just cant hardly stand to even turn the radio on anymore. Not just for the fact of crappy music, but its one song, 5 commercials, one song, 5 commercials. Nothing worth listening to period anymore.

Hey, Amethystium are pretty nice. Little bit cheesy on the production/synth work but enjoyable for sure.

Check out Biosphere (as mentioned before), Vibrasphere and Carbon Based Lifeforms. Anything on Ultimae records is a good bet.
