I was meaning that BF tries to be more realistic, I used to be a die-hard America's Army player before they went to the Unreal 3 engine. Since that upgrade the game is just not that fun and is extremely buggy. I think that last version that was great was AA v2.8 I miss that game :(

I like BF and CoD just the same, BF has a lot more eye candy and vehicles :p

There is no grain of realism in BF3 either. It's just kids shooting rockets in narrow corridors. I made a mistake buying this... up for sale

Really? One map has corridors that this occurs and you are selling it? You are aware there are many maps, Caspian Border, Firestorm ect.... That do not even have corridors. I love drama queens.

madden 11 was sick. 12 was meh...

so much hate on madden, the new madden's are pretty good. not as good to other sports game like NHL and FIFA, but still damn good.

I have played the last two maddens and didn't enjoy them. I don't hate Madden at all, I just won't purchase one again. I really enjoyed 2004-2005. I should get a photo of all the Maddens I actually own.

Have you guys seen this?

Its hilarious.

that's awesome. dwight howard at the end is hilarious.

Agreed. CBS ran it during the second game of their (US) NFL doubleheader on Sunday.

It could be subtitled "The Growth Of A N00b" - especially watching his progress from the spot's beginning to the end.

Since I have never played *any* CoD title, I can all too well identify with the "n00b" in the spot...

Is the *single-player* at least relatively decent?

Had it pre-ordered for PS3 since a few weeks ago, can't wait to pick this up tonight at 12:01 A.M @ EB Games :D... Looks like I am going to be playing campaign mode exclusively until the 10th-- Rogers techie will be by to fix the high-speed internet, modem went down just last night! :p

the PC version doesn't get unlocked until 8 am PST tomorrow but the consoles gets mid-night releases... not fair :(

This works for me fortunately. I get out of class at about 12PM EST and I cleared out all my homework for tomorrow.

Feels good to finally not procrastinate for once.

i'd post this in the battlefield forum too but im sure madd-hater or someone else in that thread would come out and starting call me a troll cause i share something that shows Dice/EA/BF games look not as good as compared to CoD no matter what the reason... (remember, a troll is someone who doesn't have the same opinion as you  )

That chart only says things that we already know.. and none of that says either game franchise is better than the other. I don't get the purpose behind it.

If popularity decided how good something was then the Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears would be considered some of the best musical talents of all time. Not that I'm saying CoD is a bad game series, it's just that popularity has nothing to do with how good or bad something is.

As much as I dislike the graphics and overall similarity with MW2, I can't deny the fact that I've had a lot of fun playing Call of Duty games. All of my best buddies are getting it so I'd be missing out on playing with them. I might be lining up to pickup the X360 version at midnight. Is anyone else doing the same?

i would if there was a point of doing that for PC, no matter where what how you get it, it uses steamworks and doesn't unlock until 8am PST.

True. Be sure to post screenshots of the PC version. (Y) I'm interested in the changes they've made to make it look better than the console version aside from higher resolution graphics and AA/AF. I think they added ambient occlusion and better shadows.

oh i will, and not use steam's crappy screenshot manager cause they compress the hell outta the images and make them look like crap. i'm expecting i can run it on full blast @ 1080p with my set up.

I have it preordered at Gamestop, but I'm going to take my chances and hopefully win it at Walmart. Add me if you guys want to get some games together, maybe I'll livestream it as well. :)

    • The current Statcoungter desktop numbers has Google Chrome increasing it's market share this past year and currently commanding 75% share. Everybody else is just making up the numbers with even MS Edge losing 3% this past year and has dipped just below 10% share which is staggering considering it's default on every Windows deviced purchased. If these numbers are correct that terrible Edge number is both devastating and embarrassing for MS especially when you add in the terribly low Bing market share. This leads me to ask a couple of questions as the default browser holding just less than 10% market share seems really weird. It used to be that all Chromium browsers were being counted as Google Chrome in some cases.  Is this still happening? Do these high Google Chrome numbers contains some Edge user numbers?
    • Yeah, all web browsers seem to have some junk in them these days. The regular Brave browser has a lot of unnecessary stuff in it, similar to Microsoft Edge, so I don't see any benefits of using Brave over Microsoft Edge if you already have Microsoft Edge fully set up with adblockers and that. The cleanest or best free browser outside of 'Microsoft Edge' I’ve tried so far is 'Opera Air'. It still has some bloat, but nowhere near as much as Brave browser, for example. I also really like the web browser called 'Floorp' that is based on Firefox. I have a system wide Adblocking program for Windows 11 that doesn't just blocks ads in the the web browser, but over the whole thing. I don't really need a web browser with an inbuilt adblocker because of that.
